Do you suffer from Dry Eye Disease?

Dry eye disease (DED) is a chronic disease affecting millions of people worldwide and it’s treatment remains challenging. Countless treatments options are attempted, with many not being very effective. Others require daily treatments that are difficult to follow. Patients quality of life is negatively impacted.

Research shows that treatment with Tixel is an effective option to reduce or eliminate symptoms of DED. In a recent paper in May 2022 by Dr Ludger Hanneken published in “Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today”, he describes the use of Tixel for DED.
– The treatment is quick and easy to perform, taking about 15 minutes
– The top and bottom lids are treated with Tixel, each in 2 rows, just next to the lash line
– 3 to 4 sessions are required to get a prolonged effect, spaced about 2 weeks apart
– Normal activities can be resumed immediately
– Treatments usually are only repealed after 12 months or more
